ASSOCIATION ORGANS

There are two organs in the Basic Medical Sciences Students' Association:

a) The Executive Council

b) The Faculty Legislative Council (FLC)

Executive Arm:

The association activities are carried out by all members under the administrative functions of the Executive Council which has 10 members elected into positions as stipulated by the BAMSSA constitution. The president assisted by his Vice oversees the entire functions while together with other Executives (General Secretary, Assistant General Secretary, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations Officer, Welfare Secretary, Director of Sports and Director of Socials), they perform such duties as spelt out in the constitution.

The Executive council consists of:

  6. Public Relation Officer
  7. Financial Secretary
  8. Treasurer
  9. Sport Director

The Faculty Legislative Council (FLC) consists of:

  • The Speaker
  • The deputy Speaker
  • The Clerk
  • The Chief Whip
